Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Drive forklift

• move materials 2. Q.C. Projects—sorting, cleaning, stripping 3. Repair and Sort Pallets
• must be able to flip pallets with or without assistance 4.

Hand load containers 5. Cleaning project as assigned to maintain BRC compliance. 6. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting, communicating and helping co-workers. 7. Set the next shift up for success. 8. Effective cross-departmental communication. 9. All other jobs assigned by supervisor. 10. Maintain a clean work environment throughout shift. Area should be clean and fully stocked or prepared for the following shift. Skills and Abilities 1. Must be able to work without direct supervision. 2. Flexible—able to change focus 3. Good time management 4. Willing to help others 5. Ability to learn and adapt to various positions 6. Must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English 7. Must be able to drive Forklift. 8. Must have full peripheral vision and depth perception. 9. Basic math (Example, how many pallets needed to complete an order) Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Earn Bonus Incentives:

25 per hour Learning the different routes of the forklift earn up to an additional $0.34 per hour.

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm/ Night shift Overtime Weekend availability in season with specific mandatory Saturdays Working days may vary based on season. Typically Monday through Friday. Saturdays can be made mandatory based on labeling, shipping or other operational needs. Expect Saturday work Sept-Dec.
