Fort Mill, SC Job Summary:

Responsible for moving goods around warehouse or other industrial sites by using a forklift to unload deliveries from trucks and stack boxes for storage purposes throughout a warehouse and other industrial property.

Essential Job Functions:

Customer service includes picking and loading the material the customer’s order and putting it on their trucks or designated zones. Assist shipping department in all functions. Maintains clean work area. Pallet building and pallet picks. Stacks crates, pallets, lumber, or other material. Ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods. Follows safety regulations and company guidelines. Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked. Determines when repairs need to be made on equipment. Rotates stock so that the oldest items are shipped or sold first. Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damage and shortages. Shrink wraps goods or otherwise secures them and prepares them for transport. Weighs and records weights of products. Analyzes productions schedules to determine timely transportation of materials and products. Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. Valid fork-lifting certificate.
