Responsibilities Prepares monthly newsletters in Network For Good Prepares all donor tax letters and receipts Works closely with our Communications Company on our Acadmey website Assists Director of Development with the organization’s fundraisers Assists Director with all printed marketing materials Supports Director with Alabama Accountability Act contributors and potential contributors Collects Alabama Accountability Act required paperwork for new and renewal scholarships Tracks donors in development software database, Network for Good Supports Director of Development with mailings and End of Year Letter for current and potential new donors and annual tax receipt run Tracks all donor and prospect interactions through Network for Good database Assists Director of Development with grant applications and other responsibilities as required or assigned Supports Director with Federal e-rate Internet Connectivity Grant and works closely with e-rate consulting firm
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects Ability to build relationships with major donors and prospects and motivate and mobilize Board members and other volunteers to engage in solicitations Act as a strong ambassador for Valiant Cross Academy among internal staff and with external constituencies Ability to exercise sound, logical judgment and make accurate and timely decisions Ability to understand standard budgeting and accounting procedures and assist with preparing and implementing budgets for the departments planned activities Ability to consistently prepare reports and correspondence in a clear, accurate, professional and grammatically correct manner Strong Computer skills (required) and knowledge of Network For Good, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Power Point (preferred), Adobe software knowledge
