Position Overview The Assistant Manager is a member of the club’s management team and plays a key role in the company and club’s overall success. The Assistant Manager is one of two managers who support the day-to-day operations and membership sales of a growing facility in the Financial District. In addition to day-to-day operations, the Assistant Manager leads and manages the club’s health and fitness programming, personal training, and member integration. This position requires a driven and energetic professional with desire to grow career within Republic organization with a passion for club operations, member engagement, and personal training; Managing and supporting the Personal Training and Group Fitness Team; Responsible for successful day-to-day operations, driving personal training revenue, and assisting the General Manager in various club objectives; Ensure club meets all applicable safety protocols; Maintaining a clean, well-maintained, and esthetically appealing environment; Impacting member service and retention by delivering excellence through quality, and cutting-edge programming that is safe, supports member’s efforts to reach their goals and provides exceptional member experiences; Meeting budgeted membership goals contributes to the overall financial success of the club and company by maintaining control over expenses while exceeding revenue targets.

PREMIUM COMPENSATION

Outside of your full-time management hours, you are welcome to engage with members through personal training Your weekly schedule will be Monday- Friday Your daily schedule will vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the club, the staff, and the members The Assistant Manager supports the member service desk directly working with our members on our front line daily. Experience Requirements At least one year of management experience or proven leadership experience in the fitness industry At least one year of personal training and group fitness related experience Bachelors in an exercise related field preferred, but not required.
