Description
The Area Director will be responsible to build a solid infrastructure for growth and operational excellence. Deliver unrivalled customer service, recruiting and leadership practices to ensure profitability for the area. Support a District Sales and Operations / Field team to achieve strategic growth and continued profitability by generating new local accounts and strengthening organic growth with current customer service, as well as manage hiring, directing and coaching internal staff within a minimum 3 branch area. Responsibilities
Leadership
Provide support and direction within a specified geographic area.
Challenge and grow direct reports to create a viable succession plan.
Provide leadership to Branch Managers, Business Development Managers and Sales Executives while empowering them to perform.
Provide guidance to develop region for continued sustainable growth. Sales
Create and support key strategic initiatives that benefit both the branch/area and the company as a whole. Develop strategic growth plans for the District on a short term and long- term basis.
Manage/Support/Guide the Sales team in your area to increase market.
Develop new client relationships as Sales Executives develop new opportunities.
Set realistic goals for each Direct Report and have regular assessment meetings to ensure success.
Continuously monitor/coach Direct Reports performance to provide timely feedback. Partner with the Regional Vice President to create realistic strategic sales goals for the region. Develop your Direct reports inclusive of corporate resources to achieve your goals. Document any sub-par performance and know when to make changes.
Assist in developing and closing large sales deals / clients.
Operational
Mentor direct reporting Operational staff to enhance Proman’s effectiveness with customers.
Establish and ensure customer service and retention initiatives are adopted throughout region by utilizing direct reports.
Oversee the design and execution of strategic recruiting plans for District customers. Anticipate the needs of clients and create a sense of urgency. Routine visits and quality calls to customers to ensure satisfaction and ongoing relationship development. Be familiar with front office and mid-office staffing software to be able to lead and train Direct Reports as necessary. Uphold Proman policies and procedures for the area. Communicate with Facilities and IT regarding maintenance of the office, including supplies and maintenance of office technology.
Risk Management
Ensure that district decisions continually address risks associated with those decisions.
Provide coaching and guidance to direct reports to address risks at all levels of the region.
Monitor, submit and follow-up on compensation claims with the Safety and Risk Department.
Compliance
Along with the Compliance Department, support and uphold compliance of Local, State and Federal laws/statutes within region.
Ensure that Direct Reports support and adhere that all regional employees adhere to corporate policies and processes. P & L
Effectively manage district expenses by implementing and empowering a cost containment mentality within district employees.
Continually analyze potential and current customer relationships to ensure that the company’s interest is supported.
Propose the annual budget for their District.

Requirements
Job Requirements
Primarily works in an office environment.
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from external and internal clients and network with the public.
Must be able to travel to various facilities in the territory and to move within each facility (sometimes long distances) to work with employees and customer representatives.
May be required to travel out of own district at the request of leadership.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
Must have a minimum of 7 years leadership in the staffing industry or equivalent experience.
Experience in leading or responsibility for managing both large and small markets/locations.
Experience selecting, developing and leading teams within a Sales and Operational staffing environment.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Operations experience including exposure to P&L responsibilities successfully.
Experience in executing strategic initiatives and gaining buy-in from staff members.
