The individual will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels, organizing products, and ensuring that the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work efficiently after the mall closes, during the evening. Responsibilities Receive and unpack merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory management. Stock shelves with products in an organized manner, adhering to company standards. Utilize RF scanners for inventory control and tracking. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely restocking of shelves. Communicate with management regarding inventory levels and product needs. Monitor product expiration dates, particularly for perishable items, ensuring freshness for customers. Package products as needed for display or customer purchase. Skills Strong understanding of retail math for effective inventory management. Keeping inventory information private. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices. Familiarity with produce handling and storage requirements is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
