Hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Carlisle, PA! Job Description Responsible for selecting and prepping orders using RF scanners, forklifts, and pallet jacks. This role supports preparing and packaging orders following shipping guidelines, and ensures the warehouse is organized and cleaned to maintain a safe working environment. Responsibilities Load and unload containers using safe body mechanics. Inspect and count incoming shipments. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Prepare and package orders according to shipping guidelines. Work efficiently in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment. Essential Skills Proficiency in inventory management, shipping, and receiving. Experience with loading and unloading tasks. Familiarity with RF scanners and packing processes. General labor and packaging skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Effective written and verbal communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions. Strong mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Physical effort may include stooping, kneeling, touching, feeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Frequent bending and twisting of the neck is involved. Occasionally, lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds is required, with rare instances of lifting up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $20.00/hr.
