We are seeking a hard-working, motivated employee with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency. You will become a vital part of our warehouse and distribution operations, in which your experience in order picking, packing, and warehouse logistics, will contribute the company’s overall success. We are an Independent Distributor servicing the professional beauty industry for over 20 years. This position is exclusively available as a full-time role. Warehouse hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm , Monday through Friday. We offer a competitive hourly wage and benefits for full-time employees.

GUARANTEED DAY SHIFT, NO NIGHT OR WEEKEND SHIFTS. ACCESSIBLE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.

Responsibilities Include :

Accurately picking orders using Company technology and procedures Accurately sort and prepare orders for shipment Efficiently pack and seal items into boxes for shipping Assist in lifting and moving boxes Assist with shrink-wrapping skids to be shipped out freight carrier Assist with product receiving and locating using proper inventory rotation methods Learn layout of warehouse and all procedures for proper movement of product. Learn warehouse computer system and technology Operate hand pump pallet jack to move product around the warehouse as needed Perform inventory counting when requested by manager General housekeeping, sweep floor, remove trash to outside dumpsters, pick up trash from floor as performing picking or packing duties.

Skills and Abilities:

Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Must have reliable transportation, or can access via public transportation Must have basic computer skills Ability to read and write in English Ability to stand and walk for duration of work hours (8 hour day). Ability to lift product, cartons, and boxes up to 50 lbs Ability to push rolling product cart, climb rolling ladder to access product if needed, and bend and reach for product for duration of work hours (8 hour day) Must have high attention to detail Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment Previous forklift experience is strongly preferred Compensation will commensurate with experience.
