Warehouse Clerk SBG Holdings, Inc 200 Commerce Ave, Freehold, NJ 07728
Primary Function :
Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Essential Duties /
Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving, inspection and processing of inventory materials, parts, and supplies.
- Put away inventory in proper storage locations.
- Work with the team to pick and pack outbound orders (parts, diamonds, equipment), including order accuracy checks.
- Follow the processes and documentation for all receiving practices and shipping practices.
- Assist in part identification and inventory accuracy tasks.
- Maintain a neat and organized warehouse area.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and stock checks.
- Assist with inventory labeling and organization.
- Performs other warehousing and inventory tasks as assigned by management.
- Report damages and discrepancies to Manager.
- Assist with and learn the diamond engraving, labeling and packing process.
- Carryout the parcel and LTL shipping process and systems
Skills:
- Forklift experience.
- Load & unload trucks.

Physical Demands:
- Heavy computer usage anticipated (finger dexterity, visual acuity / computer monitors)
- Communicating on the company phone 60-80% of the workday
- Routine motions (standing, sitting, bending, etc.) expected
- Working in proximity to light manufacturing and warehousing operations, requiring compliance with normal safety and alertness protocols Reasonable accommodation will be considered in an interactive process as needed to perform the essential functions.
Work Environment:
The position will primarily be performed in an office work environment. However, SBG is a light manufacturing and distribution business. Therefore, other work environment characteristics (not intended to be an exhaustive list) an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job include varied temperatures in open warehouse conditions, material movement and transportation equipment (e.g., forklifts, trucking), and manufacturing environments (noise, dust).
