Shipping/Warehouse Associate Advantage Manufacturing Friendship, TN 38034 Job Description The position of Warehouse Shipping Clerk is responsible for all aspects of shipping products to customers, which involves managing the movement of goods into and out of the warehouse. This role is essential for ensuring that goods are shipped accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the operations. Responsibilities include handling shipments, receiving materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that all pallets are processed efficiently. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders. Experience with scanners to track and move inventory in various locations

• Organize and maintain inventory for locating product. Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and ensuring that stock levels are accurate.
• Ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving processes to prevent errors and losses.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and scanners to locate and move inventory into various locations.
• Basic computer applications as required Required skills/Abilities Certified to operate forklifts or pallet jack to move heavy items and materials within the warehouse.
• Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively is important in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Work safely.
• Effectively communicate with all employees.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to complete all written documentation as required for completion of the job.
• Capable of operating in other job roles as business conditions demand.

Adhere to safety protocols while operating warehouse equipment.

Maintain good housekeeping:

aisles are kept clear, organized, and all items stacked correctly in their locations.

• Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs. frequently. Safety/Precautions
• Inspect the forklift daily and file required documentation
• Stack items correctly and at the correct height
• Check that trailer tires have been chalked before entering the trailer.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
