out of 5 stars Montgomery, AL 36116 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Loader to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials, ensuring that all products are handled safely and accurately. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and cherry pickers, while adhering to safety regulations. Duties Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using forklifts, cranes, or cherry pickers. Accurately pick orders based on shipping requirements and prepare them for dispatch. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards. Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize loading processes and improve efficiency. Assist in building pallets and organizing inventory within the warehouse. Handle heavy lifting of materials as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are utilized. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with order picking processes and mechanical operations is a plus. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety is highly desirable. Experience operating heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
