Responsibilities:
Manually load and unload freight in an efficient and safe mannerProvide physical labor to move product to storage areas with proper material handling equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areaAssemble various types of merchandise to be shippedSort, recoup, pack, mark, and label materialsCheck or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestationPerform duties needed for assembling displays and other specialty value-added services per the customers’ requirementsParticipate in physical inventoriesPerforms general grounds/building maintenancePerform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is desirable1 year experience in a warehouse setting desirable Ability to operate powered pallet jack safely and efficientlyGood written and verbal communication skillAbility to work a specified shiftAbility to follow work procedures and safety rulesAbility to identify and locate product which requires reading and countingAbility to read, understand, and follow directions/instructionsHave appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly execute positionSurge hires for a variety of top jobs in the area.
