Conturo Prototyping, LLC is a precision machine shop with a strong commitment to maintaining efficient and well-functioning facilities. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Shop Helper. The Shop Helper will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall functionality of our shop. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain shop floors, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris Dispose of trash and empty bins regularly Organize tools and supplies, keeping the shop tidy and efficient Assist with basic machine cleaning and wipe-downs Empty chip bins and clean screens Use pallet jacks or forklifts to move materials (we’ll train you if needed) Unload trucks and organize incoming shipments Assist with basic maintenance tasks like cleaning vacuums, bins, and equipment Pressure wash bins and containers Run local errands and make deliveries in company vehicles Support facility upkeep, including painting aisle lines and maintaining the loading dock area Follow safety protocols and communicate issues or hazards promptly What We’re Looking For Dependable and punctual — must be ready to start at 6:00 AM Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor Organized and detail-oriented Willing to take direction and work independently Comfortable working in an industrial shop environment Forklift experience is a plus (but not required — we’ll train the right person) Must have a valid driver’s license for occasional errands Why Work with Us?
