We deliver nationwide, and export to Mexico and Canada. We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic individual to join our team as a Logistics Assistant at our corporate office in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania . As an essential part of our operations team, this role will support the smooth movement of materials and products to ensure timely delivery of customer orders, coordinate with the production and warehouse teams, assist in tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, and help manage logistics documentation and schedules. This position will also work closely with our supply chain and leadership teams to ensure that materials arrive on time and in the right quantities to support uninterrupted production and meet customer demand. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in coordinating logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, including overseas and trans-border movements between the USA and Mexico. Collaborate with internal teams and external carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials and products. Support the receiving team by tracking shipments, confirming delivery schedules, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Maintain clear communication with the warehouse and production teams to help ensure smooth material flow and prevent delays. Help prepare and process shipping documents, customs paperwork, and internal logs for both domestic and international shipments. Assist in monitoring inventory movement and reconciling discrepancies between shipments and received goods. Coordinate product deliveries and backhauls as needed to support efficient logistics operations. Support efforts to identify and resolve logistics-related issues and delays, escalating concerns when necessary. Assist in updating and maintaining logistics records and reporting tools to provide visibility into material and freight status. Coordinate driver dispatch schedules and book hotels as needed to support on-time deliveries and driver compliance. Generate invoices and process billing for logistics-related customers, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution. Assist with tracking vehicle registrations, inspections, and supporting documentation to ensure fleet compliance with DOT and other regulatory requirements. Participate in cross-functional meetings to stay aligned on material timelines and delivery expectations. Help identify opportunities for transportation cost savings and efficiency improvements. Requirements and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have education or technical training in a related field, or the equivalent in work experience. The candidate should have at least 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation dispatching, or a related field. Basic understanding of domestic and international shipping, customs documentation, and freight terms. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in tracking shipments, documentation, and inventory movement. Proficient in Google Workspace; experience with logistics software, ERP systems, or TMS preferred. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple priorities. Clear and professional communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, carriers, drivers, and customers. Familiarity with DOT compliance, fleet documentation, and vehicle registration tracking preferred. Ability to problem-solve logistics challenges and escalate issues appropriately.
