Material Planner Leonardo Helicopters United States, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia 3050 Red Lion Road (Show on map) Jun 12, 2025 Summary of Position The Material Planner to support operations at our Florida Facility. This role is critical in ensuring the timely planning, replenishment, and availability of spare parts and equipment necessary to maintain aircraft and repair components within the facility. Plan, order, and replenish materials required to support maintenance and repair activities at the Florida Hangar.
Review and adjust work orders to ensure accuracy in material types and quantities.
Collaborate with the Philadelphia Distribution Centers to monitor and track the delivery of all required components.
Ensure alignment between planning needs and operational demands to avoid shortages or delays.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies in material requirements or supply issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
% of Time 1. Order and expedite all materials and equipment needed to support North and South American Fleet, MRO shop and other internal customers. 25% 2. Review target stock level and shortages on a continues basis using SAP system. Monitoring and assuring the accuracy of the work order and bill of materials. 25% 3. Assist and resolve inventory discrepancies through problem solving methodologies with cross functional team. Track and communicate to cross functional teams’ materials status and availability. 20% 4. Participate to process improvements, system change testing and validation as required. 15% 5. Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned. 15% Education BS degree or equivalent work experience. Experience Requires a minimum of 3 years, directly related experience in areas of material planning, forecasting and procurement.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
Operational knowledge of SAP and Planning Software (Blue Yonder)
Used to work in a multi-cultural environment, strong communication skills Competencies & Attributes Above Licensure/Certification APICS certification is a plus
