TEAM MEMBER WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK FOUR DAYS A WEEK IN OUR RALEIGH, NC HQ.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data driven New Store Openings Inventory Analyst to join our NSO Inventory Management team. The NSO Inventory Analyst will play a crucial role in executing NSO projects, optimizing inventory levels, ensuring product availability, and enhancing the overall initial store inventory process. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Initial Inventory Setup:
Planning:
Collaborate with the Assortment, Real Estate, Supply Chain, and Inventory teams to develop an initial inventory plan for new store openings, considering factors such as store size, location, target market, and product assortment.
Coordination:
Partner with Inventory Analysts and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely delivery of initial stock to new stores.
Implementation:
Support the set-up, ordering, and maintenance of initial inventory in new stores, ensuring that products are accurately received and recorded systemically.
Monitoring:
Track the performance of initial inventory setups and adjust as needed to optimize stock levels to meet customer demand.
Inventory Analysis:
Review inventory availability and depth across multiple locations to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
Data Collection and Reporting:
Collect, compile, and analyze data related to inventory, sales, and store performance. Generate regular reports to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Stock Replenishment:
Coordinate with our store setup team, store managers, and the supply chain team to ensure timely arrival and replenishment of stock necessary to prevent stockouts following store opening.
Performance Metrics:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management, such as order timeliness, store in-stock levels, and order fulfillment rates.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the inventory management system and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration:
Work closely with store managers, the supply chain team, the real estate team, and other departments to align inventory strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, data analysis, or a related role within the retail industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in inventory management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with SQL, and Microsoft PowerBI is a plus.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to various stakeholders. Attention to
