Full Job Description Inventory Control & Cost Analyst Location:

Manufacturing (Water Treatment, Packaging, Food Processing, Food & Beverage) We’re seeking a hands-on Inventory Control & Cost Analyst to join our team. This mid-to-senior level role is key to managing product costs and ensuring inventory accuracy—critical functions in driving both operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Cost Accounting & Reporting:

Analyze direct and indirect product costs (labor, materials, overhead), monitor cost variances, and provide actionable reporting to leadership. Bill of Materials (BOM)

Oversight:

Create, update, and maintain accurate BOMs in collaboration with engineering and production teams to reflect true manufacturing costs.

Inventory Control:

Manage and reconcile inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Drive strategies to reduce discrepancies and optimize stock levels. Support cost estimation for new bids and custom products, partnering with sales and production to ensure competitive and profitable pricing. Leverage ERP systems (preferably EpiCore, JobScope, or similar) to manage inventory and costing data.

Cost Savings:

Identify cost-saving opportunities across manufacturing and supply chain operations. Lead and support initiatives that improve accuracy and reduce waste. Generate reports for operational insight and continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience in cost accounting, inventory control, and manufacturing operations, Project Costing & Bidding, ERP & Data Analysis, process optimization. Strong understanding of BOM management, cost variance analysis, and ERP systems Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset Experience with cost estimation for bids/projects is a plus Proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Comfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced, family-owned business environment
