The Expo Group is seeking a Regional Operations Director, SE to lead daily operations within the Southeastern region, driving safety, service, and efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional leaders. Based in Orlando, Florida, this hybrid role ensures consistency, innovation, and excellence in our shows, exhibits, and events. In this role, you will: Define and communicate strategic and tactical direction across your region. Lead department Managers and Supervisors, fostering leadership and development within the team. Implement career paths, succession planning, and operational standards to support growth. Analyze performance, productivity, and profitability, and implement improvements accordingly. Partner with Sales, Project Management, and other departments to drive innovation and optimize operations. Conduct regular reviews, standardize execution practices, and ensure alignment with company values. What You Bring to
The Expo Group:
Educational Foundation:
Two-year college degree or equivalent logistics or tradeshow experience.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a tradeshow, warehousing, or show-site environment. Proven leadership in multi-site operations, with warehouse and field labor oversight.
Key Skills:
Strong analytical and reasoning abilities, excellent communication, high proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a strong grasp of logistics, budgeting, and inventory management. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, remain on your feet for extended hours, and travel as needed throughout the United States to support on-site operations.
