The Director of Field & Service Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of field and service teams, ensuring efficient project execution, high-quality service delivery, and adherence to company goals. This role involves managing field operations, resources, and personnel while driving process improvements and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role

experience in Multi Family, Senor/Assisted Living Facilities, Student Housing, and or Hospitality facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute operational strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s goals. Oversee daily field operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards. Collaborate with senior leadership to set clear goals and ensure alignment between field operations and company objectives. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance. Manage all field service operations & personnel including subcontractors, along with a high attention to detail, material management, procurement coordination, installations, and all aspects of HVAC field operations, ensuring high-quality results. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies during all field operations. Perform frequent site visits for quality control, ensuring safety standards, effective material usage, and project compliance. Oversee the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize field service efficiency. Manage budgets for field and service operations, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising service quality. Address and resolve complex service issues and customer complaints quickly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Work closely with departments such as sales, project management, and finance to ensure alignment of operational goals and activities. Facilitate communication and coordination between all internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and service delivery. Develop and manage budgets for field and service operations, monitoring expenses and financial performance to meet cost targets. Approve or review subcontractor draw requests and ensure timely material delivery in collaboration with purchasing and other departments. Travel to various project sites as needed to oversee operations, ensure project quality, and troubleshoot operational issues.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in field operations, ideally in the HVAC or related construction/service industries. Proven experience in team leadership and operations management. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation, and best practice methods. Ability to manage budgets, resources, and operational processes efficiently. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to drive operational improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
