How You’ll Make an impact The Director of Operations (Supply Chain) leads a team responsible for forecasting, purchasing, and order management in support of a major account. By utilizing a strong operational background and advanced analytical expertise, the Director ensures the brand consistently delivers the right products to the right locations at the right time. This critical role significantly shapes sales performance, profit margins, and inventory efficiency. The Director collaborates across Sales, Sourcing, Distribution, and Global Transportation to optimize on-time shipments while ensuring inventory productivity and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). Regular, proactive communication with the customer is vital to driving exceptional results and fostering mutual success. The Director of Operations reports into the Vice President, Operations and has 3-4 direct reports and is based in our Buckhead office. Buying/Forecasting (40%) Responsible for supply forecasting and buying total lifecycle of products to support the business. Manages single-season, multi-season, and replenishment product types. Executes monthly costing and capacity supply forecasts to factories, sourcing, and production teams. Monitors vendor performance and executes any logistic changes needed to meet expected deliverables. Create and maintain a Long Range Plan (LRP) guided by financial objectives and Merchandising line plan that Sourcing can use to schedule capacity and materials Manage Order Fulfilment (20%) Proactively analyze supply and demand to ensure customer OTIF goals are achieved. Determine the business impact of any delivery issues and communicate as they arise. Develop and implement strategies to improve OTIF as needed. Provide weekly updates to the monthly and quarterly financial flash. Coordinate daily and weekly shipping plans with the Distribution team to ensure the customer’s expectations are achieved Analytics (20%) Analyze all phases of supply and demand and share key conclusions and strategies to minimize disruptions. Scope of analysis includes forecast accuracy, factory performance, global transportation, fill rate, and on time metrics. Analysis will leverage existing tools as well as ad hoc research for unusual scenarios. Internal and External Liaison (20%) Act as the point person between the Sourcing, Transportation, Sales, DC, and IT teams to ensure any issues related to on-time delivery are handled. Attend meetings with external customer teams and provide information and support as needed for clear communication and positive results. We’d Love to hear from you if: Must have: 10+ years of supply chain operations experience Must be able to work on cross-functional teams and be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously Extensive knowledge of Forecasting, procurement, and/or inventory metrics (inventory planning) Working knowledge of key financial metrics Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and an advanced user of Excel Ability to present to an audience ranging from Senior Executive to Analyst Candidate must have a strong focus and proven attention to detail Bachelor degree in a related field Preferred skills and experience: Anaplan or other supply chain planning system experience Tableau or similar BI advanced skills Calendar creation focused on cross functional milestones and dependencies
