The Operational Excellence Manager is part of Hanger’s Supply Chain operations.
The role, reporting to the Director of Quality Systems, is responsible for developing and overseeing Hanger Supply Chain and Customer Operations Continuous Improvement Program using Lean Six Sigma Methodology. This role is responsible for developing, training and leading a program to embed a culture of can-do, data based, continuous improvement mind-set inclusive of all levels of the organization and empowering team members to participate in how work is done. Oversight and reporting of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods
Locations:
Alpharetta, Georgia or Phoenix, Arizona Your Impact Assist in the development and maintenance of quality system-related procedures as they evolve and support continuous improvement efforts.
Coordinate and lead QMS audits, plans for Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) related to internal QMS audit findings, and remediate gaps identified in the QMS, as needed
Develop, define, and implement a comprehensive Lean program to foster excellence in Supply Chain culture.
Champions process improvement and lean program development; oversees the implementation of best practices across the entire supply chain.
Provide leadership and support necessary to continuous improvement projects, applying Lean and Six Sigma tools to strategic projects and goals of the business.
Leading and managing Lean Six Sigma projects to improve business processes and reduce waste and variation.
Training, coaching, and mentoring team members in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
Analyzing data and using statistical tools to identify root causes of problems and develop data-driven solutions.
Facilitating change management to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of improvements.
Communicating project progress, results, return on investment and impact to stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in related field (Engineering, Business, Management).
8 years’ related business experience.
4 years+ plus Lean Six Sigma experience.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures. Preferred Supply Chain, logistics, healthcare.
Experience in FDA regulations (incl 21 CFR Part 820;
ISO 13485
) within manufacturing.
Quality Management Certification.
Experience working in multiple manufacturing facility environments.
Experience in Power BI or similar digital systems. Additional Success Factors Extensive knowledge of quality procedures and programs.
Knowledge of FDA Regulations in manufacturing compliance.
Demonstrated balance of strategic vision and execution skills.
Proven skills working with corporate functions and business units.
Highly organized, process oriented, with strong communication skills..
Proven experience in leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience in project management and change management.
Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques.
Ability to work independently with limited direction and ambiguity to drive improvement work; Demonstrates strong level of initiative with self-starter approach and ability to think strategically and innovative.
Expert knowledge of distribution and manufacturing operations including concepts of related to productivity, efficiency, and quality.
