About the Team Workday’s Business Technology (BT) organization continues its mission to deliver unparalleled value to our business partners and customers. To help BT deliver with speed at scale, an initiative, called the Innovation Center of Excellence (ICoE), was launched. BT’s Innovation Center of Excellence, is a governing function responsible for identifying priorities, establishing scalable processes, setting standard performance metrics, and overseeing specialized, cross functional teams, also known as CoEs, that drive outcomes. The overarching goal of the Innovation Center of Excellence is to inspire meaningful collaboration while tackling some of BT’s biggest challenges. About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to oversee the ICoE and shape the future of innovation within BT. This critical role offers the opportunity to drive organizational excellence, deliver high-impact results, and be a key player in a transformative program impacting the entire BT organization. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Rigor:

Drive ICoE operational rigor, including facilitating key stakeholder meetings (i.e., Steering Committee, Leads Sync, etc.), ensuring adherence to established frameworks, and driving process innovation and best practices to advance the ICoE’s mission and vision.

CoE Enablement:

Act as the Project Manager for all active CoEs, providing direct guidance, support, and resources. You’ll partner with CoE Leads to ensure all CoEs meet their committed goals and objectives on time and on budget. This includes ensuring alignment and execution of plans, proactively identifying roadblocks and mitigating risks, driving process standardization and continuous improvement, regularly providing executive-level briefings, and facilitating key meetings and workshops.

Performance:

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the ICoE. Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Collaboration and Communication:

Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across BT and the broader organization. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization regarding ICoE activities, risk mitigation, and progress. About You Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in program management. Other Qualifications Proven experience leading and managing teams, with either direct and dotted-line reports. Demonstrated ability to establish and implement scalable processes and frameworks. Experience in driving organizational transformation programs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information and identify key insights. Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to create compelling content and facilitate engaging meetings. Proven track record of partnering effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion. Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement, analyze current processes, and develop and implement effective solutions, without waiting for direction. Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
