They create a clean, fun and friendly environment by training and motivating their staff. They also generate revenue, keep a clean and well maintained club, all while providing great customer service. The opportunity is there to be promoted to higher management positions such as Member Service Manager, Area Manager and District Manager. They are full-time, receive paid vacation, full medical benefits, vision benefits and dental benefits. They are paid hourly, plus commissions, bonuses and receive a complimentary membership.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the club, ensuring smooth functioning and customer satisfaction
- Manage and supervise club staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement effective strategies to decrease club attrition
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, and inventory control
- Train and develop staff members to enhance their skills and performance
- Maintain a clean and organized club environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing member inquiries and concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the fitness or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in phone etiquette and customer service principles
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with cash operations and handling financial transactions
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems
- Proven ability in recruiting, training, and supervising staff members
