As the ReStore Director at Habitat Bucks, you will be crucial in managing all aspects of the ReStore program. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To succeed as the ReStore Director at Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County, you will need a blend of strategic leadership and operational expertise. A Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) is preferred, although equivalent work experience will be considered. Your background in retail management, fundraising, or community relations will provide a strong foundation for this role. A proven track record of strong financial acumen is essential, enabling you to conduct and interpret detailed economic analyses effectively. Having strong technical skills is crucial for achieving optimal operations. You will need to be proficient in POS systems, logistics tracking software, and possess intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities. Equally important are excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which are key to building meaningful community relationships and showcasing a customer-centric, collaborative approach. By understanding market trends and implementing effective marketing strategies, you will be empowered to drive sales and elevate brand visibility. Your proven leadership in team development and volunteer management will foster a vibrant ReStore environment. Knowledge and skills required for the position are A Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) is preferred; however equivalent work experience will be considered. Prior experience in retail operations management, fundraising, or community relations. Strong financial acumen with the ability to conduct and interpret detailed economic analyses is required. Demonstrated technical skills are essential including proficiency in POS systems, logistics tracking software and intermediate to advanced Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build community relationships. Knowledge of market trends and effective marketing strategies is essential to drive sales and enhance brand visibility. Proven leadership skills and experience in team development and volunteer management are required. All candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. All employees of Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County are subject to background checks. Candidates must also be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Childline Abuse Clearance Certificate. The normal work place will be out of the office and in the warehouse, box truck, storage area and shop. While the HfHBC offices are smoke-free and temperature controlled, a majority of the work may be in non-temperature-controlled conditions, often outdoors. This position requires individuals who are able to safely lift at least 50 lbs. frequently and more, occasionally with assistance.
