Whatyoull be doing:
Work directly with WEKAs VP, Strategic Marketing,shaping and executing high-impact strategies in a fast-paced,innovative environment. You’ll be at the heart of Weka’s marketingevolution, breaking down silos, streamlining operations, anddriving key initiatives across the company. The Director,Marketing Operations and Analytics is responsible for overseeingthe operational aspects of a marketing function, leveraging dataanalysis to drive strategic decision-making. This role is ideal fora strategic, execution-oriented leader with experience infast-paced, data-driven environments who thrives on tacklingcomplex challenges and has an analytical mindset. You’ll leverageyour skills in process optimization, data analytics/insights andcross-functional collaboration to ensure measurable outcomes on keymarketing initiatives. As a Director, Marketing Operations andAnalytics, youll: Data Analytics & Insights – Work alongside theMarketing Leadership to define, prioritize, and drive predictivemarketing analytics and insights across the org. This includessetting clear objectives, establishing the right KPIs, and ensuringa standard scorecard for marketing’s performance. Cross-FunctionalAlignment and Process Optimization – Act as the centralcoordination point across marketing and other departments,improving communication and ensuring that all teams are using datain their program development. Develop streamlined processes toenhance operational agility without adding unnecessary complexity.
Marketing Operations & Governance – Drive data strategy andgovernance to ensure high-quality, accurate marketing data forsegmentation, targeting and decision making. Ensure compliance withdata privacy regulations and industry best practices in marketingdata handling and system usage. Performance Tracking – Oversee andtrack key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are metand on-budget delivery. Regularly report on progress, highlightingsuccesses and proactively addressing obstacles. Communication andProblem-Solving – Act as an operational liaison, facilitatinginformation flow between the Marketing Leadership team and internalteams. Proactively address bottlenecks and resolve issues impactingprojects or deliverables, providing clear, data-drivenrecommendations when needed. Management and Support – Manage andoversee Marketing Operations team and support campaign executionand process improvements. This includes MarTech and generalmarketing support.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in business,communications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree ispreferred. 6-8 years in strategic project management, operations,or executive support, with a background in management consulting orhigh-growth environments as a plus. Strong ability to supportlong-term planning and make data-informed decisions. Demonstratedexperience managing complex, cross-functional projects from startto finish. Experience with Marketo, including campaign creation,management, optimization, as well as integrating it with CRMsystems and other marketing technologies Strong analytical skillswith proficiency in data analysis tools in Looker, Tableau or otherdata visualization tools to help communicate complex data insightsclearly and effectively to stakeholders. Excellent written andverbal skills, with proven capability to align cross-functionalteams. Proactive in addressing challenges and adept at adjusting toevolving priorities. Results-oriented, curious, and thrives infast-paced settings with a focus on continuous improvement. Provenexperience in change management and organizational transformation
