Purchasing/Logistics Manager Allied Motion Technologies-Dothan 3887 Napier Field Road, Dothan, AL 36303 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchasing/Logistics Manager to lead and coordinate activities in the purchase and distribution of raw materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies from the Dothan plant location to our Tulsa, OK or Reynosa, Mexico site over the next 12-month period. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of purchasing and logistics methodologies in a manufacturing setting. This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, ensure quality outcomes, and effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders. The Purchasing/Logistics Manager will play a crucial role in driving project success through effective planning, execution, and monitoring. Qualifications Proven experience in purchasing and materials procurement in a manufacturing environment. Supervisory experience preferred. Strong understanding of change management principles and practices. Familiarity with quality management processes. Excellent risk management skills with the ability to foresee potential issues before they arise. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams. Excellent experience with vendor and customer relationship management. Demonstrated background with strategic supply chain management and planning. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects or assignments.
