Location US-CT- London Seat Location EB London Facility Trade Program Management Shift 1st Security Clearance Required Secret Number of Openings 1 Overview The successful candidate will report to the Digital Enterprise (DE) Manager of Customer Interface and Data Integration. This position is located in London. The mission of the DE Program Office is to set the digital strategy and drive implementation of innovative technology and improved processes to enable digital transformation throughout the Submarine Enterprise. This position will support the EB program offices that are helping BAE UK and the Australian Submarine Agency meet the Business and Program objectives for the
SSN-AUKUS
Submarine Program. These objectives will span from detailed design through build, test and commissioning with a focus on the digital and technological challenges of setting up a UK design yard and two shipbuilders (one in the UK and one in Australia). In this role you will work collaboratively in a high-energy team environment, and interface with various Program Office, NAVSEA, IT, Design and Engineering, Operations, Planning, Purchasing, Materials and Quality Assurance & Engineering Configuration Management personnel. Responsibilities for this position will include the following: Coordinate the sharing of lessons learned and best practices and support strategic development of processes and tools related to:
UK-Australia-US data transfers
Configuration & Change Management of UK design and UK and Australian construction data
Nuclear submarine planning and construction methods
Coordinate DE information requests from the UK and Australia with various EB DE Value Stream leads and functional areas
Coordination of DE Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for
US/UK/AUKUS
exchange workshops and Video Teleconference consultations in the US, UK and Australia focused on sharing EB’s lessons learned with setting up digital tools and processes and data exchange
Oversight and management of DE capability and process reviews
Development of presentations and the ability to present to upper levels of management
Work closely with program security and ITAR legal representatives to ensure program compliance Procedure documentation, improvement and sustainment
Must be well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously
This position will require periodic international travel to
UK and Australia Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of related experience in engineering, design, or planning
Active DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred:
Experience interfacing with or creating formal submissions to government customers
Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering or related technical field
Strong understanding of EB’s Digital Enterprise environment
Experience with Groton and QP building processes
Strong understanding of EB’s Digital Enterprise environment
Experience with VIRGINIA and
COLUMBIA
Class change and configuration management processes and tools
