Position Summary The Program Manager for the Miami-based Senior Buddy Program will oversee the planning, implementation, and growth of StudentsCare’s intergenerational programming in the greater Miami area. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, compassionate, and collaborative professional with a passion for community engagement and improving the lives of older adults. Key Responsibilities Program Implementation & Oversight Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Senior Buddy Program in Miami, including student recruitment, onboarding, and support. Manage partnerships with local universities, senior living communities, and healthcare partners. Monitor and ensure quality of student and older adult pairings through regular check-ins and support. Volunteer Management Recruit, train, and supervise student volunteers to ensure consistent and compassionate engagement. Facilitate orientations and regular reflection sessions with students to enhance their experience and development. Community Partnerships Cultivate and maintain relationships with university faculty/staff, senior community partners, and local stakeholders. Represent StudentsCare in community events, partner meetings, and senior wellness initiatives. Program Evaluation & Reporting Collect and analyze program data to assess impact and identify opportunities for improvement. Provide regular reports to the Director of Programs and assist with grant reporting as needed. Strategic Growth & Innovation Identify opportunities to expand the reach and impact of the program in Miami. Collaborate with the national team to pilot new initiatives and share best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, gerontology, nonprofit management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 3+ years of experience in program coordination or management, preferably in a nonprofit or social service setting. Experience working with college students, older adults, or intergenerational programming. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Familiarity with the Miami community and local university systems is a plus.
