Responsibilities:

Typical Allocation of Duties:
Coordinate operations to accomplish program/office objectives
- 40%Develop policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the efficient accomplishment of program/office objectives.
Direct office/program operations.
Coordinate with others
- 20%Coordinate program/office activities with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
Represent program priorities before the larger university community.
Manage budget and personnel
- 20%Manage budget and control expenditures as assigned.
Train, assign, direct, supervise, evaluate, and discipline personnel as assigned.
Reporting
- 10%Prepare a variety of regular and special reports.
Maintain program/office files and records.
Provide services
- 10%Participate in the provision of direct services.
Supervisor Expectations:
The Program Coordinator assists the Associate Provost for Graduate Studies and Research in handling the following
- academic matters concerning graduate students (e.g. course substitution and waiver forms, transfer credit requests, academic warnings and dismissals)
- maintains records on graduate faculty and graduate executive committee meeting minutes
- assists with the Graduate Research Symposium and the Graduate School commencement ceremonies
- reviews theses and dissertations each semester
- markets initiatives for graduate programs
- updates the graduate catalog, thesis and dissertation guidelines, the graduate student handbook, and selected Graduate School web pages
- take minutes at Graduate Executive Council subcommittee meetings
- maintains the Graduate School budget and tracking of expenditures
- assists with the development and interpretation of policies, procedures, or best practices and applies the established practices to academic matters
- advises the Association of Graduate Students
- collaborates with graduate admissions and the student services coordinator on Graduate School functions; and
- perform other general duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

- Required Experience
- Master’s degree in clinical or program field and three (3) years of related work experience.
