Overall responsibility: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing enterprise-level projects that drive strategic goals and operational improvements. This role plays a key part in identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization, leading discovery and execution phases, and implementing impactful changes across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Establish and promote project management best practices within a fast-paced, evolving organization. Build strong relationships with executive leadership and foster trust through consistent communication and delivery. Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify and prioritize automation and process improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and reduce operational costs. Lead cross-functional project teams, applying critical thinking to align efforts toward shared objectives. Provide clear direction and ensure project goals and performance metrics align with the company’s strategic priorities. Facilitate problem-solving sessions using continuous improvement methodologies to address root causes and reduce process variability. Organize and lead business process meetings, ensuring effective collaboration across departments. Develop and maintain Salesforce and Microsoft Excel dashboards, reports, and metrics to track and communicate operational performance and project outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the specific or related field OR High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the field. Company /
Industry Knowledge:
Knowledge of financial institutions and financial data, preferably credit union or retail banking related.
Other Experience:
5+ years of experience leading initiatives that drive material cost savings and enhance customer outcomes. Demonstrated leadership skills. Experience leading teams and/or managing employees. Ability to influence teams, people, and drive decisions. Salesforce certification or 2-5 years of experience integrating Salesforce within an enterprise required. Certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean or Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent experience preferred . Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment in a leadership capacity – managing a broad and diverse scope of business processes. Ability to work with data, spot trends and draw conclusions. Must be a self-starter, possess exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work in an agile environment with minimum guidance. Comfortable in a fast-moving, results-driven environment. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills and sound judgment. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with PowerBI or other visualization tools preferred. Experience with SharePoint, Salesforce, Intacct or other enterprise SAAS tools preferred.
