Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of projects that span one or multiple lines of business Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendors, communications, schedule, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues Full project life cycle ownership Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization Provide status reporting Other duties as assigned Strong leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques Ability to build and maintain relationships Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands Experience negotiating contracts Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to meet design, schedule and within budget Experience working both independently and with a team-oriented environment Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
Education, Experience, Qualifications:
1-3 years of project management/supervision experience preferred 5+ years of construction experience preferred Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience preferred Intermediate level of experience with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities
