# of Openings 5 Category Sales Overview This position is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction
projects. Responsibilities Coordinates plans and supervises field staff, including subcontractors.
Coordinates and supervises contractor’s quality control.
Responsible for profit/loss and timely completion of project.
Responsible for project safety.
Responsible for accurate cost reporting.
Develops and trains employees for further advancement.
Develops project schedule and continually reviews and maintains throughout the project duration.
Initiates change order pricing.
Ensures all field personnel meet budgetary requirements and project goals.
Coordinates resources with other projects or Construction Manager for overall company scheduling.
Maintains professional relationship with owner, Engineer and other members of the contract team
Miscellaneous administrative duties such as filing, scanning, copying and other office errands as needed. Desired Skills/Abilities:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience
Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills
At least 5 years’ experience in heavy/highway construction/ Asphalt, concrete rehabilitation of commercial projects.
Ability to use Microsoft software
Must have valid driver’s license
Pass background/Drug screening
Must be willing to travel
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
Knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
Maintain ability to work in high production environment.
Demonstrated decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership skills.
Accuracy at all times. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current North Carolina Driver s License required.
Ability to obtain industry specific certifications.
