Job Description

Portfolio Project Controls Lead STEP Management, Incorporated 333 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh, NC 27601 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Project Controls Lead to join our team. Duties Develop Monthly Reports (Internal & External)

  • Meaningful KPIs, overall & monthly performance. Develop reports in concert with Corporate Project Controls Director. Create Executive Summary Dashboards
  • One page overview of KPIs, risks and mitigation strategies.

Support the development and management of project schedule. Develop customized schedule layouts for project stakeholders. Develop and oversee schedule management plan for status and updates, including interface with subcontractor and equipment vendor schedulers. Critical path analysis, including changes month-to-month strategies. Prepare recovery plans for setback events. Develop Project Controls Plan Create Project Controls Requirements Exhibit

  • finalize key trade partner coordination and schedule management plan. Assemble Project Status Reports, Monthly Reports, and Dashboards, coordinating with the project team and project coordinator. Create Burn Rate Curves
  • planned, actual, forecast, trend, analysis & recommendations. Develop and maintain CM Staffing Spreadsheet
  • Maintain actuals from cost analyst and forecast from team. Earned Value Curves (linked to P6 schedule)
  • Baseline plan, actual, forecast, performance against previous forecast, trends, root cause analysis and mitigation strategies.

Develop Invoicing Rules of Credit aligned with estimate and SOV; manpower analysis (linked to P6 schedule) Develop Staffing Curves connected to FTE forecasts and linked to P6 in support of procurement and resource forecast. Create Risk Management Plan, with formal Risk Register updates and monthly risk dashboard updates. Develop Periodic Monte Carlo Analysis updates. Experience Proven experience (10+ years) as a Project Controls Lead, preferably in Construction Projects Pharmaceutical or Biotech experience is helpful Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams is key. In depth knowledge of P6 is required. Proficiency in using Microsoft Productivity Suite Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
