The Assistant Project Manager plays a key support role in theexecution of millwork construction projects from pre-constructionthrough closeout. Client Details Our client is a specializedsub-contractor that has been in business for 75 years with a focuson specialty mill-work in the commercial space. Description Assistthe Project Manager in planning and coordinating millworkconstruction projects. Review architectural drawings, shopdrawings, and specifications for accuracy and consistency. Tracksubmittals, RFIs, change orders, and project schedules. Coordinatewith internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timelydelivery of materials and information. Help maintain projectdocumentation, including contracts, logs, meeting minutes, andprogress photos. Monitor project progress and budget; flagpotential delays or cost overruns. Support in scheduling sitevisits, installations, and quality control checks. Communicateregularly with clients, architects, and general contractors toprovide updates and resolve issues. Assist with punch list creationand project closeout documentation. Profile Bachelor’s degree inConstruction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or relatedfield preferred. 2 years of experience in construction projectmanagement; millwork experience is highly desirable. Understandingof construction processes, especially related to custom millwork,cabinetry, and interior finishes. Strong organizational andmultitasking skills with attention to detail. Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite; experience with project management software(e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong written andverbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpretarchitectural and shop drawings.
