Job Description

Project Coordinator 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Potsdam, NY We are seeking a Project Coordinator for our growing Potsdam office. This position will work independently and with project managers, architects, engineers, and administrators to manage multiple projects throughout all phases of construction, including interface with project team members, owner’s representatives, and construction contractors. This position also requires the candidate to assist in the development and implementation of methods to track multiple project schedules, budgets, and fees. A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the willingness to learn and continue building their knowledge. The candidate will be trustworthy, organized, punctual and have a positive attitude. Responsibilities Assist with the development of project contracts (typically within AIA) Support of the Architectural staff with printing, creating meeting minutes, etc. Support project logistics Assist in the development and implementation of methods to track multiple project schedules, budgets, and fees Assist with review and response of requests for information (RFIs), project submittals, change orders and other project forms. Coordinate with internal and external team members. Communicate project needs to all team members. Organize project structure and documents Coordinate project closeout procedures and documents. Requirements Strong organizational and communication skills is required This position requires using the Microsoft Office Suite and Project Information Management Software. Prior experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. Experience in construction project administration and architecture/engineering is desired. Experience with financial review and tracking is desired.
