Leasing Agent / Assistant Property Manager Investments Limited 215 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432 We are a Boca Raton based real estate property management, owner and operator of a local portfolio of 3,500 + apartments. Our Boca residential division requires the addition of a new Leasing Agent/Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The position is based in East Boca Raton and is Monday through Friday and alternating Saturdays. This person will be responsible for leasing available units, renewing existing leases, reviewing property site conditions, preparing documents, assisting residents, marketing, screening applications, security deposit refunds and inspection of vacant apartments. Additional projects and/or duties as assigned by the Property Manager will be part of the responsibilities.
Education/Experience:
Minimum Education — High School Diploma; post high school education preferred. Minimum Experience – Six months successful experience as Leasing Consultant or experience as an assistant property manager.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work well in a high volume/stress environment. Must possess superior attention to detail. Must be able to work well independently as well as within a team. Familiar with landlord-tenant and fair housing laws. Computer literacy in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Internet required. Familiarity with Yardi preferred. Bilingual skills a plus. Competent in the operation of general office equipment. Positive attitude, enthusiastic, dynamic and energetic behavior desirable. Responsible for updating the availability list. Update on-line advertising weekly and print publications monthly or in accordance with publication deadlines. Respond to all advertising generated leads. Prepare lease agreements and various addendums accurately and thoroughly. Must have knowledge of contents and be able to clearly explain each document. Obtain resident signatures on all appropriate documents. Maintain community files in an orderly manner and in compliance with rental file checklist; provide executed copies of all legal documents for processing. Assist the resident in completing the move in checklist and ensure all items documented are submitted for repair through the maintenance staff.
