Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Consultant Arborside Apartment Homes Decatur, GA 30035 building Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and property management activities, ensuring that residents and property owners receive exceptional service. This position requires strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a solid understanding of property management practices. Responsibilities Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the property’s daily operations, including tenant relations and property maintenance. Handle tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate leases, contracts, and tenant communications records using property management software such as Yardi. Support leasing by conducting property tours and upselling available units to prospective tenants. Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain property standards. Assist in preparing reports on occupancy rates, rental income, and other key performance indicators. Ensure compliance with legal regulations related to property management, including LIHTC requirements where applicable. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to manage service agreements effectively. Experience Previous experience in property management, experience with affordable housing programs, strong interpersonal skills, and at least 1 year of experience with Project-Based Vouchers. Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to leasing and tenant agreements is a plus. Strong customer service skills with building rapport with tenants and vendors alike. Experience with sales techniques and upselling strategies is advantageous. Knowledge of property maintenance processes and best practices is beneficial. Proficiency in using property management software (Yardi) is highly desirable.
