Assistant Property Manager Job Description:

Our team is seeking an Assistant Property Manager who has experience in the maintenance of both commercial and residential buildings. This individual will be responsible for the daily coordination and execution of maintenance tasks, and associated administrative tasks, across our property portfolio. The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to, the management of maintenance requests, regular monthly rotation of property walk-throughs, the scheduling of external vendors and obtaining service quotations, and tracking routine inspections. This position will report directly to the Senior Property Manager and will provide essential support to our property managers, the crew leader, and the broader maintenance team. We are particularly interested in candidates who have troubleshooting capabilities, office experience, and well-developed communication skills for both office and tenant interactions.

Specific Responsibilities:

Take all maintenance calls and work order requests Track and update all work orders to completion through AppFolio Coordinate with our maintenance technicians and tenants to schedule work requests and ensure completion Schedule and track routine property inspections and testing with service vendors Conduct regular property walk throughs to inspect general upkeep and schedule maintenance as necessary Coordinate unit turnovers with internal staff, tenants, and vendors. Assist the project manager with obtaining quotes

Specific Requirements:

Some experience in residential or commercial maintenance or property management Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and/or Workspace products Ability to navigate cell phone-based applications Personal transport and a valid driver’s license Self-starter Communication skills Team player
