OVERVIEW
The Resident Services role is responsible for being the liaison between the Dorchester management office/staff and the Unit owners/residents. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented and results-focused, and thrive in a collaborative but self-driven work environment. Candidates must have two to three years’ experience in the property management field and be committed to delivering excellent service to our Unit owners and residents.
HOURS/SCHEDULE
This is an on-site, not hybrid, position. Individual must be available during scheduled hours: 10:00AM-5:00PM 4x a week (firm schedule TBD).
General Duties:
Meet with owners/residents to respond to their questions, concerns, and needs. Meet with new residents/owners and provide general information about the building. Compose and distribute communications between the management office and owners/residents. Relay complaints, problems, etc from owners/residents to maintenance, housekeeping, or outside vendors. Generate and follow up on work orders to resolve maintenance issues in Units and common areas. Perform weekly inspections of the common areas. Process leases submitted by Unit owners and input new tenants into Yardi and BuildingLink. Manage move in/out schedule for new residents in BuildingLink. Assist General Manager on special projects. Export work order chargebacks from BuildingLink, format excel sheet, and upload to Yardi. Manage amenity memberships (garage, gym, pool, etc).
Special Duties:
Write and edit articles for the bi-monthly newsletter. Plan and prepare for social functions each year. Schedule holiday decorations with vendor seasonally. Assist in review of contractor request forms. Manage pool staffing and scheduling during summer pool season. Prepare resale packages
