Operations Associate 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Tampa, FL 33619 Role Summary A team-oriented, Operations Associate for our growing branch location. This position works to ensure installation teams are well-trained with a goal of quality work and positive customer experience. The Operations Associate will be in constant communication with Installers and customer throughout the flooring installation process. Candidate must have leadership qualities, strong organization skills and communicate well with various personality types. Responsibilities Oversees recruitment, development and supervision of third-party flooring contractors Assists customers and Installers to identify solutions to installation related issues Routes/schedules team of contract installers daily Visits new installer’s job sites to inspect work quality and compliance with company standards Maintains order status daily and update company software with pertinent data Works to maintain both customer satisfaction and Installer business relationship Qualifications Strong management skills Positive and professional with the ability to maintain a calm demeanor during hectic periods Customer-oriented approach and desire to assist others Ability to work as a team Excellent written and verbal communication Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work Must work well with limited direction using independent judgement Demonstrate a sense of urgency 1+ years of experience managing staff; contractor management preferred 1+ years of experience in the flooring and/or home improvement industry preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work a five-day, 40+ hour work week, including availability on some Saturdays. Additional days or hours may be required based on volume and seasonality, in addition to the flexibility to take calls afternoon/evening and/or weekend hours. Environment and General Considerations Casual warehouse and office environment. Travel 0-15% within a 75-mile radius as needed.
