Scheduling Coordinator 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 2010 South 51st Street, Tampa, FL 33619 A leading Asphalt and Paving Maintenance company based in East Tampa, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining efficient operations and ensuring timely completion of construction projects.
Position Summary:
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing project schedules for our construction and maintenance operations. This individual will collaborate closely with client customers, Operations Managers, Project Managers, Subcontractors, and Vendors to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in coordination with Project and Operations Managers. Consult with Customers, subcontractors and vendors to align schedules, ensure timely deliveries, and meet project requirements. Maintain an effective scheduling system, updating calendars and task lists regularly. Monitor and track project timelines, identifying potential delays and facilitating corrective actions as needed. Prepare and issue required notices, including NOC (Notice of Commencement) and NTO (Notice to Owner). Ensure all subcontractors provide up-to-date Certificates of Insurance (COIs), W-9s, and signed subcontractor agreements. Document scheduling processes and maintain accurate records from project initiation through completion. Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve scheduling conflicts or issues. Provide progress and performance reports as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field preferred. PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in project scheduling within the construction industry. Proficiency with project scheduling software and Google Drive. Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and scheduling principles. Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills. Ability to assess project progress and implement timely interventions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage shifting schedules. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and punctual with a neat, business-casual appearance. Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to changing priorities as needed. Strong customer service and phone communication skills.
