SB 1 Banking Operations Specialist – Private Banking – Amazing Opportunity! Ascendo is excited to present this amazing opportunity in the private banking industry, located on-site in Aventura . If you’ve worked with intricate domestic and international wire transfers, navigating systems like SWIFT and Fedwire, and ensuring meticulous compliance with AML and OFAC regulations, you’ll want to explore this further. This is a 6-month assignment that offers a fantastic chance to join a prestigious private bank, providing an upward trajectory for your career and the opportunity to provide high-touch support to high-net-worth clients! Responsibilities Process and verify domestic and international wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Monitor wire queues, resolve processing exceptions, and identify potential fraudulent transactions. Conduct thorough due diligence on wire instructions to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Provide high-level support to private banking clients and internal stakeholders regarding wire inquiries. Perform daily reconciliations of wire transactions and maintain accurate records for audit purposes. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency in wire processing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred. At least one year of dedicated wire operations experience within a financial institution, ideally a private bank. Proficiency with wire transfer systems such as SWIFT and Fedwire. Strong understanding of AML, BSA, and OFAC regulations in the context of wire processing. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client and internal team interactions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple tasks. This is an on-site position in Aventura .
