Material Expeditor Location:
New Orleans, LA (100% Onsite) We are seeking a proactive Material Expeditor to support a critical construction project by ensuring timely delivery of supplies and subcontractor resources. This role will coordinate across departments, monitor deliveries, and maintain efficient material flow to support continuous work progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and follow up on material orders to avoid delays or shortages. Work cross-functionally to identify and resolve material availability issues. Communicate proactively with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with Project Managers to understand evolving project material needs. Maintain records and generate performance/progress reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing or materials management. Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.). Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. Strong understanding of inventory control, receiving, and issuing processes. Experience using computerized material control systems.
