This role plays a critical part in tracking costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and ensuring timely execution of Corrective Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, and Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) testing. Working closely with the Maintenance, Automation, and Projects teams, the Scheduler will ensure alignment between maintenance and broader operational goals to drive performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules using Monday.com, SAP and internal work management software to ensure efficient execution of maintenance and operational initiatives.
  • Support Preventative Maintenance and Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) testing, ensuring critical components remain in compliance with internal standards.
  • Develop and implement a robust scheduling process for preventive, corrective, and drilling-related maintenance activities.
  • Deliver efficient work management processes, ensuring work orders are effectively nested within existing plans to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure execution readiness for all scheduled maintenance activities, coordinating closely with Maintenance, Automation, and Projects teams to align work packs, materials, resources and timelines.
  • Track costs and resource utilization, identifying opportunities for optimization while maintaining budget alignment.
  • Analyze maintenance backlog, prioritizing tasks based on production impact and urgency while optimizing workforce allocation.
  • Provide detailed performance reports, leveraging data-driven insights to inform project leads and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring work plans integrate effectively with broader business objectives and facility operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 5 years of experience in project scheduling, cost tracking, and work management within the upstream oil & gas industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including Monday.com, Primavera P6, DSO, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for work order and preventive maintenance tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost control, resource optimization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous or evolving environments and drive process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, supporting cross-functional collaboration across Maintenance, Automation, and Projects teams.
