Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Boat Yard Manager to support daily operations at our boat yard. This role involves hands-on work with boats, trailers, equipment, and general yard organization. Ideal candidates will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an outdoor, fast-paced marine environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklift to move boats on and off trailers and around the yard safely. Operate travel lift to launch and retrieve boats from the water. Coordinate and assist with boat logistics, ensuring timely and accurate placement or delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment. Assist marine technicians with hauling, staging, and general support as needed. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs. Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating forklifts or travel lifts preferred (training available). Valid driver’s license. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Team player with good communication skills. Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
