Warehouse & Inventory Operations Manager Select (Food Manufacturer) Linden, NJ 07036 For more than three decades, Golden Platter Foods Inc. has been a leader in the food manufacturing industry, proudly operating from our Newark, NJ location. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to announce the opening of our new state-of-the-art facility in Linden, NJ. With this expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse & Inventory Operations Manager to lead all warehousing and inventory management activities at our Linden warehouse and oversee warehouse and inventory functions at our Newark facility.
Position Overview:
The Warehouse & Inventory Operations Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate warehousing and inventory practices across both locations. This is a hands-on position for a proactive and experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced, growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations at our Linden, NJ facility. Oversee and coordinate warehouse and inventory activities at our Newark, NJ location. Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, receiving, shipping, storage, and order fulfillment. Develop and maintain robust inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and ensure traceability. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and quality standards, including food safety and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement warehouse and inventory best practices. Train, supervise, and motivate warehouse and inventory staff. Coordinate logistics and work closely with production, quality, and transportation teams. Monitor key warehouse and inventory KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support the startup and scaling of the new Linden warehouse.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse and inventory operations management, preferably in food manufacturing or distribution. Proven track record in inventory control and accuracy. Experience with warehouse management systems; SAP experience is a plus . Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, HACCP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel regularly between Linden and Newark, NJ. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
