A day in the

Life:

+ Lead a dedicated team of salaried and hourly employees to achieve distribution excellence and ambitious company goals while delighting the customer.+ Coordinate with cross-functional departments (customer service, transportation, operations, commercial, etc.) to develop the most efficient inbound, outbound, and order fulfillment strategy while maintaining customer expectations.+ Provide Site financial information (expense analytics, cost drivers, reporting) and maintain annual budget targets in partnership with senior management.+ Initiate investigations into process failures, product failures, and safety incidents, determining and implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions.+ Develop and implement a strategy of continuous improvement to include productivity and efficiency improvements.+ Drive effective communication within the distribution center and with other departments across the company.+ Lead 3PL performance and financial+ Provide opportunities for cross-training and leadership development through mentoring, coaching, performance reviews, and career development.+ Develop, mentor, and evaluate (PMDs) distribution leaders, and develop Performance Improvement Plans when vital.+ Serve as an effective safety steward by ensuring accurate reporting of near misses and attending safety trainings.+ Operate a safe work environment through continuous safety awareness and full compliance to all EH&S programs and activities.+ Partner with EH&S to foster a safety-first culture and improve safety procedures and metrics.
