Warehouse Manager Tycom Recycling, Inc. 155 Holleder Parkway, Rochester, NY 14615 Job description Tycom Recycling, Inc. is an industrial recycling and brokerage company located in Rochester, NY. The company was founded in 1995 to provide plastic processing and recycling services for commercial and industrial businesses. We work with automotive, food, pharmaceutical and plastic molding manufacturers. We have an immediate job opening for a key person in our organization. The position is for the Warehouse Manager. This is a forklift driving position that also has customer interaction and warehouse responsibilities. You will be directly responsible for the Shipping and Receiving Department. The successful candidate will also be working directly with our core team scheduling freight and supporting plant operations. This is a full-time position for the day shift. Qualifications Proficient forklift driving skills. Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving type paperwork. Knowledge of loading and unloading step vans, trailers and overseas containers. Basic math and computer skills. Detail oriented. Supervision experience helpful. Warehouse organization. Reliable and demonstrates exceptional attendance. Responsibilities All Shipping and Receiving duties. Interaction with transportation dispatchers and drivers. Supervision to other employees when needed. Mentor as needed. Knowledge of all customers and materials. Organization of the same in the warehouse. Works directly with customers by phone and computer. Maintain a secure, clean and organized dock area.
