Inventory Receiver Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

Inventory Receiver Excelsior Integrated Lee, MA Job Responsibilities:

The Inventory Receiver plays a critical role in the 3PL supply chain by ensuring accurate and efficient receipt of inbound goods. This position is responsible for verifying shipments, inspecting product quality, updating inventory systems, and coordinating with internal teams to maintain seamless warehouse operations. This position works closely with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Duties:

(includes but not limited to the following) Timely and accurate receiving of customer inventory and packaging supplies Accurate updating of inventory by location in company database Daily loading and unloading of trucks and shipping couriers Aid management with coordination and utilization of effective and efficient allocation of warehouse space, including control of the proper binning numbering system Report to manager and customer support team low or out of stock situations Lifting boxes that are 50 lbs or more Aid in inventory cycle counts per direction of manager Identify and resolve all issues relating to inventory discrepancies due to receiving inaccuracies Daily communication with manager the status of outstanding receiving issues Work closely with other departments to ensure accuracy of inventory bin locations, etc. Evaluate receiving processes and recommend improvements in efficiency and effectiveness Other tasks as assigned, including cross-training of self and others as backups, and/or filling in or rotating in other positions as company workload requires

Qualifications and Skills:

1-2 years of experience in warehouse receiving or inventory control, preferably in a 3PL environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment Forklift certification preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work flexible hours and some weekend work as needed
