Examples of Duties Responsible for all phases of the University’s warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, delivering, shipping, and disposal of widely diversified and specialized supplies, equipment, and furniture. Establish and maintain asset management and accountability over all supplies and equipment received by the University. Ensure that equipment above the inventory threshold level is properly tagged and recorded in the Property Control database. Resolves damage and specification issues with the manufacturer, distributor, and/or delivery company. Enforces policies and procedures regarding the proper storage and accountability of items in dispute. Supervises daily distribution of supplies and equipment to various University departments. Typical Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 3 years or more of education. Knowledge, experience in management of inventory, and warehouse management. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in warehouse and Inventory methods and procedures. Demonstrated experience in purchasing functions. Strong attention to detail with ability in verify and reconcile data, including basic mathematics calculations. Proficient computer skills utilizing the Internet and programs including Microsoft Office, inventory/warehouse operations software and work order maintenance software. Supervisory experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and/or work with a team.
